Ministry Description
Currently, I am responsible for leading and overseeing Word of Life Philippines, which operates in two locations. The organization encompasses four key functional ministry departments: University Campus Ministry, Bible Institute, Youth Ministry in collaboration with Local Churches, and Camping Ministry.
Ministry Impact
We began our journey in the camping ministry and local church ministry with Word of Life Philippines 19 years ago, and I am now serving as the field director. It has been a remarkable experience to witness countless young people come to Christ and dedicate their lives to the Lord.
About Jonel
I found my salvation through the Word of Life ministry, which provided me with the opportunity to work part-time in both the kitchen and security services. The Lord touched my heart, leading me to study at the Bible Institute for four years. During that time, I devoted myself to spiritual growth and reflection. In Colossians 1:27 “God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 We proclaim him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ.” I am driven by a strong conviction to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with young people and to disciple them so that they, in turn, can reach others.
About Eunice
Jonel and I were married in 2005. Due to the highly functional ministry of Word of Life, I quickly became involved in various ministry opportunities and spent a year studying at the Word of Life Bible Institute. As we served together in schools, churches, and at camp, the Lord placed a burden on my heart to reach young women, sharing the gospel and discipling them.
